Orientation

We want assignees and their families to feel at home fast in China. Preparation is key—it is essential that assignees and their families understand their new environment before they move, and participating in a customized orientation program significantly reduces the risk of failed assignments.

Our Orientation programs are geared to exploring the city’s layout, hotspots, and expatriate hubs and in light of a particular assignee’s interests and priorities. We love China and with proper advice on their housing, schooling, travel, and other options so will the assignee.

We conduct Orientation programs either individual services or as part of a Familiarization package. If school search and home search are not required, our 1-day Orientation is a popular option.

Orientation Programs Typically Include:

  • A general overview of city, including 1-2 hours of classroom training on what to expect
  • Visits to areas of personal interest such as religious institutions, sport facilities, and vets
  • An introduction to public transportation
  • Visits to international supermarkets
  • Visits to popular entertainment areas
  • Visits to international hospitals
  • Visits to expatriate hubs
